Volume Loss Consultations

About Volume Loss Consultation

As we age, the loss of facial volume is a major factor in the development of wrinkles and hollow areas. A volume loss consultation helps restore and contour these areas by addressing the underlying skin structure, rejuvenating your appearance, and creating a more youthful, refreshed look.

Benefits of Volume Loss Consultation

Structural Transformation

Our expert practitioners use a variety of fillers, ranging from firm fillers that mimic bone or cartilage to soft fillers that resemble natural skin tissue.

This non-invasive approach to facial augmentation offers an effective alternative to surgical procedures like cheekbone, jaw, and chin implants, as well as rhinoplasty. Results can last up to 18 months.

Rejuvenation

Soft fillers smooth areas such as tear troughs, nasolabial folds, forehead, and temples, revitalizing your overall appearance. Enhancing the cheekbones, jawline, and chin with firm fillers can also tighten the skin, helping to prevent deepening lines around the mouth over time.

  • A volume loss consultation typically involves a detailed discussion about your aesthetic goals, a thorough medical history review, a facial examination to identify areas of volume loss, and a personalized treatment plan outlining the most suitable options like dermal fillers, depending on your specific needs, including potential risks, costs, and recovery expectations; the practitioner will also discuss any necessary pre-treatment preparation and aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results.

  • Results from facial balancing treatments are visible immediately, though the final outcome will be most noticeable once any initial swelling subsides

  • Plasma fibroblast pre and post care includes avoiding sun exposure, not picking at crusts, and using aftercare products.

    Pre-treatment

    • Avoid tanning and unprotected sun exposure for two weeks before treatment

    • Avoid waxing, plucking, or using depilatory creams for two weeks before treatment

    • Avoid prescription strength exfoliate creams for two weeks before treatment

    • Wait at least two to three weeks after other skin procedures in the treatment area

    Post-treatment

    • Don't cleanse the treated area until the following day

    • Avoid exercising for 72 hours after treatment

    • Avoid exposing the treated area to heat, steam, or sweat

    • Don't pick at crusts

    • Keep raw skin moist with the provided ointment

    • Don't cover the treated area with sunscreen, makeup, mascara, creams, or other products until it has fully healed

    • Minimize sun exposure and keep skin moisturized

Avoid anti-inflammatory and blood-thinning medications for at least 2 weeks prior to your treatment if possible. Medications and supplements like aspirin, vitamin E, green tea, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil, Ibuprofen, and NSAIDs can thin the blood, increasing the risk of bruising and swelling following anti-aging injections.

For the first 24 hours after your treatment, refrain from rubbing or massaging the injected area. It's also essential to avoid direct pressure on the area, such as sleeping on your face, face-down massages, extreme temperature changes, intense exercise, prolonged sun exposure, or excessive alcohol consumption during this time.Description text goes here
